Satisfied Parents of Happy Kids

We feel very fortunate to receive countless compliments and testimonials from our parents, reflecting on their family’s journey and their satisfaction with Primary Colors Early Learning Center.  We love and appreciate our Primary Colors family and strive to be the best possible early learning center available for your child.  Check out some of our parent reviews below:

"We evaluated many different facilities when seeking care for our son John when our family moved to Durham. We realized after spending time talking with the staff that Primary Colors was the best place in Durham for our daycare needs. The staff was professional and very organized. More importantly, they truly cared about our son and his development. Our son was very happy and learned many skills quickly in their safe and caring environment. We could not have made a better choice for than Primary Colors."

"Some of the most professional and caring staff I know. They are a very great choice. Thanks guys."

"When we enrolled our son last July it was a time of a lot of change for us. A new state, new jobs and the first time we were putting our infant son into daycare. Well, 6 months later, we couldn't be happier with Primary Colors. Our son loves waking up and "going to school" because the teachers genuinely love and care for the kids."

"My family have been extremely happy with PrimaryColors ELC since the very first day our son started. The school is blessed to have a wonderful set of teachers, but I have alo noticed how amazing the secondary staff is as well, through their interactions with the children and others at the facility. This is very important to me as it takes a whole team of quality individuals to take care of children, and this place has it! Everyone is always very friendly, and I always feel very comfortable leaving my son. Also, I love the structure and learning at Primary Colors. The teachers do an excellent job of helping children interact with each other developing critical social skills, while maintaining a fun and expressive learning environment. I wish I could spend more time there myself some days because it just looks like so much fun!"

"We have been members of the Primary Colors Early Learning Center family since 2005. The care and genuine interest the entire staff has for each individual child’s development and well-being is evident each day that our daughter goes to “school”. The teachers love their jobs. We have seen very little staff turnover in the 10 years that our girls have been attending preschool at Primary Colors. This makes all the difference in the world for the children. Kara and her staff have provided wonderful learning opportunities though each stage of development. From infants to 4 year olds, the curriculum and enrichment programs provided at the center lend themselves to a nurturing environment for our daughter, Riley. Fall Festival and music day seem to be her favorite special events! We firmly believe that the academic success of our 10 year old daughter, Elizabeth is in part because of the skills she learned with Ms. Mattie and Ms. Vivian. Parents are also supported. I have a very vivid memory of the period of time when Elizabeth transitioned from Trent Drive to Dixon. I was very stressed about the move. Elizabeth’s teacher talked me through it and helped me realize that the new center would not impact my commute or change Elizabeth’s environment. The reassurance of the teachers transitioning with the children, and the open house for the parents eased my fears. There are not enough words to express how privileged and grateful Craig and I are to being a part of Primary Colors. A true testament to our gratitude is the fact that Ms. Mattie started caring for our oldest daughter, Elizabeth as a baby, and then helped her blossom into a 5 year old ready for kindergarten. Mattie helped to shape Elizabeth at the beginning of her time at Primary Colors, to the day she graduated from the center. Riley is in her final year of “school” and will be graduating in August. It will be a very bitter sweet day for our entire family!"

"It took a while, but I learned not to take it personally when our daughter wasn't ready to come home at the end of the day. In fact, she often turns around and tries to walk back in just after leaving. I can't think of better reassurance that she's found a home away from home at Primary Colors and is treated with respect and care while we're apart. Our family has been with the center through many milestones, from giving up the sleep sack to first foods, then first steps, first words, and so on. Our requests for support in decisions like cloth diapering, self-led movement (like not sitting until she could get into the position herself), eating solids before purees, and so on were all embraced. The conversations are now about helping with emotions, understanding boundaries, and communicating clearly, and the friendly partnership and conversations continue throughout. I look forward to my daily check-in with the teachers and staff, am enjoying the company of other families in the center, and feel embraced as a member of the PC family."

"Our son Krishna is thriving at Primary Colors! He started there as an infant and now is two-and-a-half. We love how much he is learning, cognitively as well as socially, thanks to the play-based approach and the incredibly diverse student body. The teachers and staff are top notch, nurturing his development, keeping him safe and healthy, and expressing so much love and care. Primary Colors is a microcosm of the world we want for our son, and ourselves."
